Hi i’ve just joined the community………..

i have a desktop at hoem and a laptop

laptop is currently dead and i’m sure its something to do with the updates i installed or tried to!!

i like to tinkle with the comps but probably shouldnt and will no doubt be asking for help on occassions!!!!

My laptop froze the other night, and wouldn’t respond to anything i did, and so i had to manually take out its battery to turn it off. I think it froze again once i restarted it so i took out the battery a second time.

Now, i cant get to the desktop at all, my laptop keeps restarting.

Since yesterday i have a problem with my computer. My PC is infected by some kind of virus when i was trying to install one program for unpacking rar files with passwords, from mininova:(
Result is - all icons on desktop and taskbar is showing for 30sec and then they all disappeare and again…
